2 day weekend workshop // 9:30am - 5pm both days // Level: Beginner // Instructor: Cassandra Macindoe, Stitchery Founder // Cost: £130 (inc. pattern) // Pattern: Willow Dress or Vest Top by Grainline
Learn the basics of making your own clothes, and create something new and unique for your wardrobe!
Be Yourself. Choose your own fabric; fit it to your own unique body; express your own unique style. If you've had enough of ill-fitting, low quality, hi-street clothing, then this weekend workshop is your opportunity to break from the herd.
Learn sewing machine basics, stitches & seams, fabric terms, simple hems and basic seam finishes. Boost your summer wardrobe with your own self made Willow Dress or Vest Top. These are simple wardrobe stapes that can be made again and again in different fabrics.
This course is open to complete beginners and sewing machines are available for every student, although you may bring your own if you wish.
