Free-motion embroidery is a little like drawing with your sewing machine; the normal constraints are removed, leaving you free to move your fabric around and make all sorts of wonderful patterns. This, as you may expect, is a liberating experience for anyone who's used to sewing in the standard fashion, and bags of fun for everyone, regardless of your sewing experience. 

In these taster sessions Podnip Designer, Susie Haigh, will be showing you how to prettify your belongings with applique and free-motion embroidery techniques. All students will be given a machine and fabric to work with and enough time to create their own wee art work. This workshop is open to complete beginners.
