A Christmas Invitation
Mince pies and mulled wine at the ready! On Saturday 10th December, from 9:30am-5:30pm, we'll be having our annual Christmas open day. This is an invitation for you and your friends to come and take a peek at our studio, ask any questions about courses or projects you're working on, and maybe take part in some taster classes (or just look in on them!).
Pop Up Shop & 10% Discount
As part of the open day, we'll be hosting our very own pop-up shop, with an array of garments and fabric from local sewers on sale. This will also be a chance to get 10% off our upcoming courses and other usual studio products, such as haberdashery, patterns, sewing machines, and vouchers purchased for courses or private tuition. We'll also be reducing a selection of our patterns to £10 for one day.
Taster Sessions
During the day we'll be hosting three Christmas themed taster sessions for you to book into. These are short classes, intended to give you a flavour for the types of things you can enjoy at The Stitchery. They're open to pure beginners and experienced sewers alike, and a sewing machine is provided for each student.
The taster sessions will be taught by our regular instructors, who will be demonstrating some basic techniques and guiding you as you make your very own Christmassy item. Advanced bookings for these sessions can be made below.
