Learn how to sew and make your own set of pyjama bottoms!
This fun-filled 2-day workshop is design to introduce our upcoming generation to the wonderful work of sewing and making their own clothes! Learn how to using a sewing machine; understand different fabric types; use a paper pattern; sewing basic seams and seam finishes; sewing hems; making a casing and inserting an elastic waistband.
Each of our students will create a comfortable pair of pyjama bottoms in a fabric of their choice and take away our Junior Sewing e-book for future reference. Time permitting, students may also make a headband or some bunting with their spare fabric.
This course is suitable for children aged 10-16 years old. And in the interests of child safety, the tutor leading this course has been through full Disclosure Scotland.
